You're making me homesick! That's just not fair.

hmmm, New England huh? Well, other than just being forward and all, I'd offer to come and hook up your DVD...if you live within an hour of Worcester MA...cuz 'Neverland' is worth seeing so I've heard!

Hey, that dvd thing is rough! When I got mine, I spent countless hours connecting, unconnecting, and reconnecting the damn wires, trying to make it work. I suffered the same fate as you. Finally, I had to admit defeat in my Independent Womanhood and have my dad do it, and he has never let me forget it since then. Argh. They COULD make those things with one plug that goes into one hole -- I know they could, if they wanted to! And what is with discount stores not assembling furniture anymore? Fifteen years ago, if you wanted a desk from Wal-Mart, you could pay an extra $10 and get the assembled floor model. That option doesn't exist anymore. The system is against single women!

Usually dvd players have S video cables or an RCA cable. RCA cables are the red/white/yellow ended ones. Just match the color of the cable to the hole. S-video is just a 1 ended cable that goes from the tv to the dvd player (unless you run a receiver then it goes there)

I've matched up all the color cables to all the colored holes, and read the directions repeatedly until my head almost explodes but it JUST DOESN'T WORK. I only get sound. Grrrr! dvd player must die!!!
