I think it's far stranger that I looked through your list of 28 books, and I haven't read any of them either.

That certainly is an eclectic collection of books. I just sent you a link to a cool website about trading books for free. :)

I was the summer reading champ as a kid as well! Pretty much for the same reason as you. I also worked at waldenbooks which I loved, but I liked my job at b. dalton better but just because the people were nicer and that was before they got all strict on stuff. If I saw your book shelf I'd think you were really cool. :)

How about this: I either currently have, or used to have, at least HALF of the books on that list. And the rest of them, I wish I had. So consider yourself fortunate, and if you wanna get rid of any of them, well I'll be stateside in a few months, and I will totally stop by!

I desparately need to arrange my books properly. Since we moved, they're out of order and I demand orderly books. I am the book fascist!

I've read the Hite Report. Ummmm, and that's it. From your collection, I mean. Heh.

Heh. I'm also a Leo Rising person. In fact, almost all of my friends are. And apparently most of my readers are Aquarians. How weird is that?

I have the same issue. I can't turn down a free book. I have so many I don't even have a count at this time. I've been that way since I learned how to read. I'm starting to run out of room for them all, but its so hard to part with even one.

Ah. Boooooooooooooooooooks. Bookstores have a gravitational pull on me. I've been walking along the street with friends and disappeared. It's a familial trait. GranMater once handed me a copy of "Plutarch's Lives" saying, "Not that you've got to read it, but it should be in everyone's personal library."

When I left my husband, I had 36 boxes of books, and five of clothing.

When Mater was trying to convince me to move to Portland, the one thing that sealed the deal was Powell's City of Books bookstore.

Yeah, ah lak books.
