Oh, so political commercials were supposed to make SENSE?? Riiiight. I pity you - we're currently campaign free right now.

That terrible mall is the blight of the city. All it's going to do is take business away from downtown. I totally feel your pain. I wish I had been there for the phallic parking lot pole. And which town's mayor is a kid-toucher??

That mental picture of Osama walking out of Old Navy loaded down with shoppping bags gave me a huge grin. :) Even more so when I pictured some of the boys from the 'hood doing a drive-by on his ass.

We have a local politician who is a landlord. His previous tenants own a local chinese restaurant; they did $2,400 in damage to his rental propery (so says he). When he asked for his money the chinese dude told him to take him to court. INSTEAD he's decided to tell everyone in town, via his message board, that they are filthy, vile creatures and to NOT eat at their restaurant.

When he was asked about libel and slander and why bring the restaurant into it (I've eaten there many times, it is spotless and the food is excellent) he began spouting about the INJUSTICE they did to him. When asked why he couldn't have named the thread "don't rent to these people" he said that he couldn't do that; blacklisting is illegal. Isn't it nice to know our politicians have such upstanding convictions?

Since when do political commercials make sense. Most of them are nothing but emotional propoganda designed to intentionally manipulate people. Politics - yuck I don't trust any of them. :)
