I just love how you can write about these life-changing events so perfectly that I want to laugh and cry at the same time while I'm reading. Do you still have a copy of that article you wrote for the newspaper? I'd love to read it!

I want to read it too! And I third the sentiment. I love your stories...I can just see the kitties. I'm glad they made it safely.

Every place has it's pros and cons and you had good reasons for leaving CA. Also, "patooeying" is a very good word. I have to write that one down. Thanks for the great story!

I'd like to read it too! You have very lovely, penetrating eyes, Witty. (now I'm giggling because I said penetrating)

Where in Marin did you live? My ex-husband grew up in Marin County - in Fairfax. After college we moved from Oregon to the bay area and would visit his mom who still lived in Fairfax. I loved that little town and loved the whole Marin Country area. I saw George Lucas while eating breakfast at a Spanky's in Fairfax. I saw Robin Williams at a 7-11 store in Mill Valley. That is just the greatest area on earth! I miss it.
