What a wonderful painting, kittycakes! He's such a dish. My friend R had dinner with Peter (hey, I feel we're on a first-name basis) lots of times when he was filming "The Last Emperor" with Bertolucci in Beijing. Both Pete and Bernie (ditto) even ate seconds of R's Christmas pudding she'd made with her own fair hands! I am so jealous I could cut out my own spleen with a butter knife and send it to a prostitute, or something equally artsy-angsty meaningful. Love, R xxx

THANK YOU WITTY!!! Geez, I always want to have a conniption (sp?) fit when someone plays the "poor me" game. You handled the sitch with perfect equanimity and grace. Your work is *already* great and full of life, why not put your paintings on the market right now?

I'm glad you did that - I probably wouldn't have and just gone home and complained about it.

Oh wow, that painting looks great! I can totally see you selling your works. And BRAVO on the Yuppie-Mommy smackdown. Jeez, that sounds like something you'd see on Pay-Per-View...

Great job on the painting!! You got it goin' ON! Yes, whiners are annoying as hell aren't they? That's why I'm trying to put a check on my blog whining. Shit though, you were so nice...wouldn't it have been fun to just tell her she's right, she SUCKS ASS and should just drop the class! Hehehehe!

Your use of color is always pleasing and the brushwork is lovely. I say to become a better painter draw from life every chance you get. It gets the eye and hand in tandem.

Is that the Obnoxiouis French Guy? It's just how I imagine he would be. Kinda of victorian with a bow tie.
