So we've both set foot in churches this month without lightening striking. Imagine that! And I always feel ... more spiritual, I guess, out in nature than inside the walls of a church myself.

Ye gads, the screaming children in an echoey church. Then the musicians turn up their mikes really loud to compensate, so I'm just cringing in aural pain. At least our pastor is entertaining, what with his ADHD and Dyslexia. And he's FAST, too, especially when he's had his coffee and he didn't get to go before Mass. Yes, he lets us know these things.

i feel closer to my goddess (higherpower, creative energy, whatever you want to say) when i'm out in nature then when i'm cooped up in a church with people there just to be seen as doing something good. eeks, i'm so cynical about church people, sorry. i love your artwork btw. do you have a site to view it all? ~zen
