Thanks for the link. Let's see, mace and a whistle with special breakable string. I think you should just walk around with a nice katana sword strapped to your hip. I can guarantee no one is going to mess with you then. ;)

I just got a pedometer and so far I've walked 1,690 steps and that's only equalled .8 of a mile. When I hit the 1.0 mark I'll let you know how many steps that is.

I remember a few years ago, my grandmother put a pedometer on my cousin, who was just two. And before 10 in the morning, that kid had already taken enough (baby) steps to equal twelve miles. Jesus. I think if I got one, it would laugh at me. Instead of working through my anxiety and stress with walking, I do it the really healthy way - with things cooked in butter and cheese. Mmmm...cheese.

your harold reminded me of Eriks father for a minute there. Then he got totally uncool and the moment was lost. I would trust the guy in that picture, his teeth are way too white to be a killer. oh wait that's jack nicholson. i would trust him to get me into a laker's game and not really even that. pfft. actors. I used to count my steps when i lived on the east coast. i was scared all the time there and knowing how many steps i took, the counting of them took my mind off my problems. I had a system for counting. every hundred i would hold out a finger. ten fingers, one thousand. a thousand steps is so not a mile. not even close. esp not uphill. dammit. more like 5000 steps. i mean, think about it? how many feet is a mile? 5836? just guessing... we should switch to the metric system. so much easier for mathtards like me

As a person in the art scene I'll say please please becareful about who you let sell your work. I recommend you use your myspace to start. The dealers don't/can't make art for the most part they just wished they did, and they take that out on the artists. Also there are several artists web page communities you can join. They do cost a little, something like $20 or so a month. My Expose is one I've been looking at.
