I like that the figure is so dynamic. We're waiting for the sound of his next step. (And I think that you could easily ask for more than a hundred, sweetie.) !G

Witty, your work is worth much more than $100, my dear. And, well, the blue is striking.

I think you should start an e-bay gallery store and have a big sale every quarter. Put a nice reserve on them and see what sells. In Portland lots of artists sell their stuff not only in galleries but in clubs, wine bars and hair salons! Just swing by with a portfolio and talk to the owner. If it rings their bell they'll probably schedule a certain number of paintings to be hung up for a month. Lots of stuff usually sells that way. Just throwing some ideas out there for ya.

Is that why you never got back to me about the two pieces I want? Price anxiety? ~LA

While I agree with Glob that the cobalt IS nice, I think the rest of the colors are so intense and beautiful - the whole thing is great, really. I think someone would pay more than $100!

I think all of the colors are gorgeous. It would look fantastic in my living room and if I wasnt up for the poorest girl on earth award, I'd buy it from you.

Oh Witty! That painting is absolutely beautiful. I love it! Please conjure up the courage to step out and put one up for sale. I think you would be very pleasantly surprised at your success, which would in turn raise your confidence to the next level. Go girl!

Its a gorgeous picture, definitely worth more than $100 (by my transatlantic calculator). incidentally what is "inappropriate underwear"? Thermals in July? Tasselled nipple covers under georgette blouse? Dont want to inadvertently be wearing some and have to get changed. s x (PS Your brother is so wrong and obviously knows nothing about art. the blue stuff sucks. hee hee hee I kill myself with my own amusingness sometimes!)

Witticakes, I'm stunned. Your painting is going from strength to strength - the Diego-inspired one is simply fabulous and you really must put it (and yourself) out there as soon as you feel comfortable enough. Have fun in your new career, dollface. Love, R xxx

The cobalt is good, but for me, it's all about the vermillion and scarlet lake. It's a wonderful painting!

Wow!!! That is fantastic!!!Very striking - I really like it (yes, this would be why I'm not an art critic - I can't say anything other than 'cool, very nice' - I don't verbalize the specifics well). And yes, $100 is not enough.

onewetleg - 2006-07-27 22:00:15

Wow.. you still go to a therapist? You mean, you don't insist that you don't need one like the rest of us? Neat! So, like, how long have you gone, and after awhile, what is there to talk about? ...... and the cobalt blue looks REAL good.
