I'm probably not the right kind of doctor, but if I sign it as Dr. Volatile, rather than Liz Volatile, TOKOD (the other kind of doctor), maybe they won't notice. And I work cheap - any diagnosis you want! *grin. Heck, I could probably come up with something like the chemicals in the photolab with react favorably with your (insert diagnosis), and this would be the optimal work environment for Ms. Kitty.... Force them to fire you, that way you can get unemployment. With Bush-psycho-creepy-caca you can get it for up to two years. My ex got it for a ridiculously long period of time. You may also have disability through work, although they probably have a pre-existing condition period, usually you have to work for a year before it doesn't apply. I'd stick with getting fired and collecting unemployment.

I agree wtih Kunfukitten, make them fire you and get unemployment. That way you can look for a better job at your leisure.

((hugs)), I know too wel about the job that sucks the life out of you. Are there any other places hiring, that might me more up your alley? Do you have a job service type place like we do here where you can peruse job openings to find something that is more of your nature? Just a thought.

sorry you're having work problems. never trust HR...i worked in HR briefly...they aren't their to help the employees, all they are there for is hiring/firing and trying to protect the company from lawsuits! yeah, can you get them to fire you so you can get unemployment?...~zen

Wooohooo! I knew this JP would come in handy one day... legal advice! So... now that they KNOW you're having problems with the job on a physical level, the Americans with Disabilities Act says in part... "... and it requires that employers make reasonable accommodation to the known physical or mental limitations of otherwise qualified individuals with disabilities...". Oh wait.. JP... that's different from PJs, isn't it? ... which I'm wearing as I'm typing... never mind, and good luck!
