Way to empower yourself, one screw at a time. (No pun intended, unless you want one. If so, go ahead and enjoy the double entendre.)

I also dye my hair in the nude, and I like to run around pretending I've been bludgeoned. Sometimes, it makes Hubster scream like a girl.

getting a little PISS on your hands is not all so bad, it's like 99% water. Obviously, you've never had kids or experienced rinsing out a cloth diaper? THAT is major yuck! hazrdous waste. toxic.

Whoa, I obviously have not been to your diary in a while -- nice design! And I give you mad propz for going all Miz Fix-it on yo shee-it. Oh, and if you want to hear my bruv's song, I stuck a live clip of it on a YouTube player and embedded it, so check it out, even though it's kinda dark!

Love the new design! Very vertical and easy-on-the-peeps for reading. Loved the entry -- too funny! There is a weird thing that happens to women when they suddenly decide to fix something without anyone's help. When I was a growing up, my brother or dad would do that kinda stuff...then when I went to college, it was boyfriend work. But one day, between boyfriends, I bought a jelly jar cabinet from Wal-Mart (it was like a small pantry) and decided to put it together myself. It was so empowering! Ever since then, I do all sorts of fix-it/build-it things. But I have yet to master the art of hanging a curtain rod. All in good time.

I have had to replace the hot water knob in my tub twice since I've lived in the current apartment. I'm very good at it now. But I am currently having a similar issue with my front doorknob, and the usual screwdriver trick hasn't worked...so I've been using a coathanger to open the door for at least a month. I don't hate my landlord, but calling for something like that just seems...lame.
