I've got a bunch of rose petals pressed in my Riverside Shakespeare book from flowers I've gotten from boys over the last twenty years. Have you considered burning the petals? It's a very nice cleansing ritual and it's almost like incense anyway! You might also write down everything you'd like to let go of and what you'd like to fill the void and burn it with the petals so your wishes are sent out to the universe. I know that sounds super wuwu but it works!

"Wuwu"-haha. Hey, witty, you got me laughing out loud at the image of you stomping the rose petals with your feet yelling Havanagila in a circle...

I have had the same kind of season the past six months. I moved out of a dreadful place with rude neighbors and management and ended some painful and energy sapping relationships. I'm feeling so much better now and things in general are better. Get the boxes girl, you'll be so happy that you did. Give yourself a fresh start.

I LOVE decluttering. I don't know why, probably a base reason like clearing out the chaos in front of you helps clean out the chaos inside of you. Too bad you don't live in Michigan, I'd help you get rid of stuff.

I'm a minimalist. I hate clutter of any kind.

Clearing the crud can make it seem like a new apartment. Despite the snow we're over the hump and spring is rising. I have the same urge to dump the bumpf from my life too. Of course the biggest bumpf is being a slowpoke about getting gone on his own. Maybe I need to do the hora on him. L'chaim! ~LA

I saw that Oprah, too, and it kinda had the same effect. I mean, I've been de-cluttering for the last year or so - throwing out clothes that don't fit anymore, mostly... but it's nice to get rid of all the crap that was wasting space in your house (and your life).

I need to sell stuff on eBay too...and take stuff to Goodwill. It's such a wonderful feeling getting stuff cleared out, isn't it?
