I've noticed that over-enthusiastic religious people tend to be mopey when they don't get their way with non-believers too, but I've also noticed that religion and mental disorders seem to go together hand-in-hand for some reason.

When asked what my relationship w/ the big g is, I answer, "We used to be tight, but he stopped calling. Why, have you heard something?" It makes me laugh, and it confuses the hell out of the pushy proselytizers. If they persist, I ask them about their sex lives or how much $$ they make. As I see it, asking someone about their beliefs is every bit as personal--and is none of their effing business. (Sorry, I just get a little huffy about the subject.) Massive hoopla on your computering...I'm still having issues with Nadine. *sigh* Oh well.

I like your heron! A friend of my parents picked up watercoloring in her 60's and continued late into her 80's. It's not an easy medium at all! I prefer house paint on a 40'x40' stage floor.
