Good thing your PANTS weren't on fire. You said this was a repeat performance? OMG! I wanna meet your family!

I'm so proud of you for pulling up your pants before running out of the bathroom into the fire and chaos. I would have gotten that part mixed up and ran out with my pants and underwear around my ankles, thus condeming my entire extended family to a lifetime of therapy due to post traumatic stress disorder. Except for my 92 year old grandmother who would have taken a swig of her scotch and said "So is that what they call a Brazilian Wax job?"

But it's nice having that kind of uniformity. That way there are no surprises that we have to deal with.

Sounds as though you are blessed with a certain guaranteed amount of excitement every year. That's wonderful. I also extend my congratulations on remembering to pull up panties and trousers before leaving the loo. I would have made the old college try, fallen over, cracked the toilet with my head, and ended up spending the evening at the ER with all the turkey-frying casualties. Huzzah for you quick-wittedness. Happy T-day, woman. =) **!g

Eeesh! A repeat? Wow. We don't have that sort of excitement here. We either fight with each other, or bury beloved pets (sadly, Thanksgiving is the 2-year anniversary of the loss of our Russian Blue). But fires? We can only hope!
